A tasting that compares three vintages of our 100% Nerello Mascalese, obtained from a selection of our centenary saplings. Dedicated to Mr. Ignazio Musmeci (previous owner of Fessina) who recently passed away. Ignazio wore on his face the rough grace of his land, an elegance and a kindness of other times: our most important red intends to pay homage to this innate elegance of which he has taken care of these vineyards without letting them go down the drain, for almost a century. A love for the land, and the culture of this land, which constitutes our true great wealth of Tenuta di Fessina.

This itinerary provides an overview of our company Crus, wines made out of unique terroirs from which only the oldest and qualitatively excellent vines are selected to produce the best varietal expressions of the Estate, portrayed in iconic Contrade and the result of unique and exclusive vinifications.
COOKING CLASSES – 180.00 € PER PERSON (4H DURATION)
The Cooking Class experience includes a private lesson with our Chef on the Estate. Recipes of the Etnean and Sicilian pastry tradition will be cooked together, where the guest will be an active part in preparations such as homemade cannoli and cassatine. Then served during a tasting lunch paired with our wines. As a gift we will give our guests the kitchen bib of the Estate and the Chef’s hat as well as the recipes cooked together.
All our tastings are preceded by a visit to our vineyards, wine cellar, barrel cellar and the ancient millstone, a place of memory of Fessina.
