LAENEO DOC Sicily, authentic rarity from Etna. Produced from 100% Nerello Cappuccio saplings. Fessina is one of the few Etna producing companies that have taken up the challenge of vinifying 100% Nerello Cappuccio, it can be considered an “didactic” wine for the intentions with which it was produced. Check the contribution of this variety to Etna DOC, in which it is found in the company of Nerello Mascalese. Cappuccio brings spice and color to Etna DOC, so Laeneo is intriguing, not only for its juiciness nourished by blood notes, but also for its aromatic persuasiveness. Today Laeneo boasts its own circle of enthusiasts who eagerly await the release of each new vintage. Fessina’s Nerello Cappuccio is greedy, peppery and irresistible to drink.
